Simisola Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi broke into the music scene bigger and cemented herself a spot in the industry in 2015 when she dropped her song ‘Jamb Question’ a song which later got a Falz feature and received massive airplays. Simisola changed the entire game and raised the bar for everyone, but most of all for herself—because she’s in a league of her own. A year earlier she had been nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015 for her 2014 song “Tiff“.
Simi who continues to soar and evolve launched her independent record label, Studio Brat after the expiration of her recording contract with X3m music, the music label she joined following the release of her 5 track EP ‘Restless‘ in 2014; the 33 year old has since released 5 solid projects with Restless II as the latest, she has also had numerous songs and features many of which are hits as she never really misses.

A member of her church’s local choir, Her professional music career started in 2008 following the release of her debut studio album Ogaju, which consisted of a variety of songs such as “Iya Temi” and “Ara Ile”. The album was produced entirely by Samklef. She has several singles and features which are available on all digital platforms.
