Wizkid’s Made In Lagos Breaks Fela’s Billboard Record
Records are there to be broken as Nigeria Ayo Balogun’s album ‘Made in Lagos‘ has now spent 46 weeks on Billboard’s ‘World Album‘ Chart surpassing the 45 weeks record set in 1999 by ‘The Best Of The Black President’ album, a compilation album by the legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. Wizkid’s made in Lagos becomes the longest charting African album on billboard world chart Afrobeats to the world, the world to afrobeats as the genre continues to become a serious contender now in world charts.
