Pheelz, Fireboy DML perform at the 2022 BETawards

Naija/Afrobeats was sure heavily represented at the 2022 edition of the BET Awards – The American award show that was established in 2001 by the Black Entertainment Television network to celebrate African Americans in music, acting, sports and other fields of entertainment over the past year.

Fireboy started off his set by delivering a beautiful performance of his latest single “Playboy,” and rounded it up with a performance of his hit tune ‘Peru‘ to become the first Afrobeats artist to ever perform at the award night.

Nigeria Singer/Producer Pheelz opened off the pre-show with his beautiful performance at Culture’s biggest night.
