Odumodublvck claps back at Blaqbonez, saying, ‘You’re not the top rapper’

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck (real name Tochukwu Ojogwu) has publicly called out fellow artist Blaqbonez, challenging his self-proclaimed status as Nigeria’s best rapper.

The feud between the two musicians escalated after Blaqbonez took a subtle shot at Odumodublvck in his recent track Who’s Really Rapping, a collaboration with A-Q. The diss quickly ignited a war of words on social media, drawing reactions from fans and reigniting debates about supremacy in Nigerian hip-hop.

During an interview with Jusmen 105.7 FM, Odumodublvck dismissed Blaqbonez’s claim as disrespectful to rap legends who have shaped the industry.

“Do you understand what it means to call yourself the best rapper in Nigeria? Stop playing,” he said. “M.I is the best rapper. Vector is the best rapper. If you were the best, you would’ve won Best Rap Album at the Headies—you weren’t even nominated for Best Rap Single.”

He went on to cite industry heavyweights like Phyno, Olamide, Modenine, Ghost, and Tec, emphasizing that such a prestigious title should only belong to artists with an undisputed legacy and accomplishments.

“It’s really annoying, bro. You could get smacked for saying stuff like that,” Odumodublvck warned, accusing Blaqbonez of misleading fans with unsubstantiated claims.

While acknowledging Blaqbonez’s skill, Odumodublvck urged him to stop using what he called “insecurities” to overshadow other talents in the rap scene. The clash has since gone viral, with fans and critics debating the legitimacy of both artists’ stances in Nigeria’s competitive hip-hop landscape.
