Peter Okoye announces “I am my own square” as P-Square comes to an end

Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, formerly part of the now-disbanded music duo P-Square, has proclaimed himself as “his own Square,” confirming the group’s official dissolution.

Replying to a fan on X who remarked that P-Square could never be replaced as “everything has its time,” Peter agreed and clarified that the legendary group is no more. He pointed out that while P-Square is over, his brothers, Jude Okoye and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), have now become the new “JP-Square.” 

“Exactly! Judeboy & Rudeboy, that’s the new JP-Square. Make una manage them. It’s their time. I dey on my own, dey run my own race. I am my own Square,” Peter stated. 

His comments highlight his commitment to his solo career while encouraging fans to support his brothers in their musical endeavors, signaling a fresh phase for the Okoye family in the entertainment scene.
