Shatta Wale has released his highly anticipated EP, Echoes of the Ghetto (African Dancehall), a raw and unapologetic tribute to his roots. Dropped on January 15, 2026, the 6-track project is a masterclass in storytelling, proving that the street’s pulse is still his greatest inspiration.

In a departure from the feature-heavy trends of the industry, Shatta Wale goes entirely solo on this project. By stripping away the guest verses, he places the focus squarely on his signature gravelly vocals and the “African Dancehall” sound he has pioneered for over a decade.
