Burnaboy, Ckay, Wizkid, Davido, Ayra Starr & others were Nominated for the 2021 MOBO Awards
The MOBO Awards are an annual British music award presentation honouring achievements in “music of black origin”, including hip hop, grime, R&B, soul, reggae, jazz, gospel, and African music. The 2021 edition of the MOBO Awards will hold at Coventry’s CBS Arena on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021.
10 African acts have been nominated for the Best African Music act at the 2021 MOBO Awards including Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido. Of the 10 names on this list of nominees in this particular category, 8 are Nigerian by nationality, while the other two are Ghana’s King Promise and British-African music group, NSG. Other Nigerians on this list nominees asides from the aforementioned include; CKay, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Tems, and Ayra Starr.
