The 29th edition of the Essence Festival of Culture was held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. It witnessed performances from Missy Elliot, Lil Wayne, Megan Thee Stallion, Remy Ma, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Jermaine Dupri. Still, the one that caught the eye most was the performance of Grammy Award Winning Nigerians Wizkid and Tems who performed their hit collaboration song of Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album.
