
In a historic moment for African music, Afrobeats is set to dominate the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2025. Three Nigerian music powerhouses – Rema, Seun Kuti, and Tyla – will grace the legendary stage, further solidifying the genre’s global impact.

Rema, the young sensation who has taken the world by storm with hits like “Calm Down” and “Ozeba” will bring his unique blend of Afropop and R&B to the Coachella stage. Joining him is the legendary Seun Kuti, who continues his father Fela Kuti’s legacy with his energetic performances and socially conscious lyrics. Also is the rising South-African star Tyla, known for her soulful vocals and captivating stage presence joined by Desiree, and Amaarae, adding a fresh mix of Afrobeat, Amapiano, and R&B sounds to the stage.
The festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, over two weekends in 2025: April 11–13 and April 18–20.
