Mr P Responds to AI Allegations on “I Can’t Look Away”

Nigerian Afrobeats star Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P of P-Square, has addressed accusations that his new single “I Can’t Look Away” features AI-generated vocals.

In a direct response, Mr P stated: “Even if it’s AI, what is actually wrong? It’s only with me that they see fault because I beat their expectation. No artist doesn’t use autotune. Even Beyonce uses auto tune. Even Michael Jackson used autotune.”

He has also publicly denied using AI, emphasizing his own vocal performance on the track released as part of his upcoming OG Forever album. The song has gained traction, earning praise from Davido and topping charts in Nigeria.
