Mr. Money is Back: Asake Unveils the Tracklist for His Fourth Studio Album ‘M$NEY’

The “Lungu Boy” era has officially shifted into something even more monumental.
In a cinematic reveal that feels more like an art exhibition than a standard music announcement, Afrobeats sensation Asake has confirmed the full tracklist and guest features for his highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘M$NEY’.
The announcement arrived via a stunning visual teaser shared in partnership with Spotify Africa. In the clip, Asake walks through a grand, floor-to-ceiling marble hall where the song titles appear etched into the stone, a literal “monumental” statement for an artist who has spent the last four years redefining the global reach of the Nigerian sound.

A New Chapter of Independence

Scheduled to drop this Friday, May 1st, M$NEY marks a pivotal moment in the singer’s career. This is his first full-length project under his own independent imprint, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE. It follows a record-breaking run that includes his debut Mr. Money With The Vibe, the soulful Work of Art, and the experimental Lungu Boy.

The Collaborators: Quality Over Quantity

Asake has always been strategic with his features, and M$NEY is no different. With only three guest appearances across 13 tracks, the project keeps the spotlight firmly on Asake’s signature fusion of Fuji-inspired vocals and street-hop energy.
DJ Snake (Worship): The high-octane collaboration that merges Afrobeats with global dance music.
Tiakola (Badman Gangsta): The French star brings a slick European urban flavor to the track.
Kabza De Small (Asambe): Perhaps the most anticipated feature, as the South African Amapiano “King” joins forces with the man who brought Amapiano to the forefront of Nigerian radio.

What to Expect
From the spiritual undertones of “Amen” and “Worship” to the introspective vibes suggested by “Forgiveness” and “Why Love,” M$NEY appears to be a balanced body of work. It explores the duality of his journey: the relentless ambition of a street-born hustler and the regal success of a global icon.
With the release date set for May 1st, fans are already counting down to what is sure to be one of the defining albums of 2026.
